SPEL’s Approach to Oil & Water Separation – Puraceptor

ABOUT THE WEBINAR

Matthew Scarlett, Business Development Manager (SPEL New Zealand), will be exploring the features of SPEL’s renowned, class 1, full retention hydrocarbon separator units. The SPEL Puraceptor is purpose-built to contain major oil spills, via its two-chamber system and coalescer, which makes it suitable for high-risk applications, such as refuelling stations and service stations. Matthew will also discuss the installation methods for these systems and the maintenance required to ensure that dangerous spills are prevented from entering our stormwater systems.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER

Matthew heads up the SPEL team in New Zealand and is passionate about all things stormwater, particularly removing and keeping hydrocarbons out of stormwater – which includes a hands-on understanding of the SPEL Puraceptor. Spearheading our New Zealand operations, Matthew’s understanding of the market and its inherent challenges helps him find the best solutions for our clients from SPEL’s tried and tested range.

With over twenty years’ experience in the construction marketplace, and an in-depth understanding of pumps and valves, Matthew seeks to find win/win outcomes for both engineers and local authorities when it comes to flexibility and compliance. He brings a wealth of knowledge, high level technical ability and enthusiasm for the industry – and still can’t believe that he actually gets paid to help look after the environment.
