Launched by Green Building Council Australia (GBCA) in 2003, the Green Star rating system promotes better environmental outcomes in the design and construction of our built environment. The rating system is an extension of GBCA’s purpose to lead the sustainable transformation of buildings, cities, and communities—creating healthy, resilient, and positive places.
