Organica Water # 1 “Cleantech” Company in Europe & Israel

It’s official! Renowned SPEL supplier Organica Water, the wastewater treatment specialist, has been named Cleantech’s “Company of the Year” in Europe and Israel at a recent ceremony in Washington DC, USA.

With over 9000 environmentally conscious companies from 60 countries trying to make it onto Cleantech’s coveted ‘Top 100 Private Companies in Clean Technology’ (or even the 300-company shortlist) being proclaimed outright winner was an extraordinary feat. However, it is hardly surprising.

Organica Water is a global provider of innovative solutions for wastewater treatment and recycling. It has developed a cost-effective and resource-efficient approach to biological wastewater treatment, one that offers:

  • a significantly reduced physical footprint
  • lower operational and infrastructure costs
  • a pleasant botanical garden-like environment
  • an answer for today’s changing demographic landscape.

The latter is very important. Our planet is experiencing one of the greatest population migrations in its history. By 2050, two out of three people will live in an urban center, thus creating more waste in less space. Organica‘s proven technology allows smaller facilities to be built closer to where people live.

As Ari Raivetz, CEO of Organica Water proudly points out: “(The Cleantech ranking) is a tremendous honor for us. It recognizes that the time has come for the next generation of wastewater management, and we look forward to continuing to be the standard operating system for all municipal wastewater treatment plants in the 21st century.”

The Global Cleantech 100 list focuses on private independent clean technology companies from all around the world, highlighting those most likely to make the most significant market impact over the next 5-10 years.

The list is derived from Cleantech Group’s own data and research, combined with the weighted qualitative judgments of hundreds of nominations, and the viewpoints of a global 90-person Expert Panel.
